5 stars for food and price point. Great service too
MJ USA's roasted meat is already well known to the residences of Kissena Blvd area. I been there for lunch for their Pork (Roast Pork Belly) and roast chicken many times.
I found out their seafood dishes for dinner was excellent at a great price point.
We recently order their $399 Poon Choi " pen cai " (order 1 day ahead) which included 10 abalones , 3 lobster , 1 crab , veggie, duck , fish ball ,dry scallops , etc ) in a giant stainless steel basin.
You would work your way down each layer and is great for friends gathering and common in Hong Kong during celebrations. Their Poon Choi was really good and fresh seafood ingredients , the abalones was good size and taste. At $399,I seem much higher prices at other restaurant. It is a no brainer location to try this HK cultural dishes. BTW, they do have private room in basement, call and ask for it.
They actually offer this to go to if you leave a deposit for the stainless stell basin (poon)
Check my photos out as I had the king crab there as well from another visit and it was good and at decent price and need pre-order 1 day.
P.S. I been there few times for dinner and lunch. I never experience the negative services other mentioned here. It is a family style Cantonese restaurant in Flushing , don't expect Manhattan style pampering. The service were clean, efficient and friendly. -

[Attitude of Service]
Today, I visited this restaurant for dinner before heading to Colden Ctr. At Queens College for a show. We thought of going here because this is convenience since it is just two blocks away. We encountered to be "served" by a waiter who first grab the plate from my wife without speaking a word. My wife's chopsticks was still on the plate surfing through the vegetable. When we pay, we carefully calculated the tip and gather enough cash to the booklet, the same waiter closed the booklet and clipped onto the fingers of my wife. I express my complain to him and he spoke nothing or even looked at me, but rushed to take the check to the cashier. I was really angry with the attitude but my wife seems to have more patient to spare to calm my emotion. However, another waiter bring back the booklet and showed us some change with the check inside the booklet. He told us that we have not paid enough. We told him that these are the change we left as tip. This time he apologize to us, but that was not enough to redeem our anger already. I really want to take back the tip and storm out the restaurant.
[Food Quality]
We ordered roast pork and soy sauce chicken, some typical Cantonese food. The taste of the roast pork is okay, and it will be better if they can balance out their dish with the leanness of the meat. The soy sauce chicken is little bit too raw but the taste is good.
[Price]
Compared to other Cantonese Restaurant in Downtown Flushing, NYC Chinatown, and even Bensonhurst Brooklyn, the price of this restaurant is 5-10% higher than others.
[Conclusion]
I really don't appreciate the service, I am not going back if I have other choice even with my strong craving of Cantonese food. -

Don't come to this restaurant for a fancy celebration, but the casual food served here is quite good.
I usually hit up this joint for some of its BBQ meats like the Roast Pig or Free Range Chicken. Other favorites of mine are the Cauliflower w. Preserved Meats, Salted Fish w. Minced Pork Clay Pot Rice, Shrimp w. Egg Sauce on Rice and Singapore Rice Noodle.
A major plus is that there is usually street parking available right nearby. I often choose to skip downtown Flushing and grab a quick bite here. -

Great times with friend and good eats to boot. I especially like the crispy pork. The big bowl of seafood was very very very filling with lots of goodies. We ordered a few dishes to compliment it.

Best oldest classic Cantonese food in flushing. I mean there's a reason for being oldest. A small cozy place with authentic Cantonese food and nice staff.
